What happens if liquid gets into the extractor?

You are cooking pasta and the water boils over! Do you wonder what would happen if it ran into your BORA cooktop extractor?

Don’t worry, it’s not a problem! Depending on the system, up to 300 ml of liquid can collect in the cooktop extractor, from where it can be easily wiped away. Even if more liquid than this gets into the extractor, it will not damage the electronics as the air flow does not pass through them. With our BORA X Pure, BORA Pure and BORA Basic ranges, the extractors can even hold up to three litres of liquid. The housing base can be removed for simple cleaning.
