Error messages and faults: how you can resolve them

Er03 is shown on all cooking zones and the cooktop switches off automatically One or more sensor buttons is covered (by a finger or other object) Remove the object, clean the operating panel 
The fan display is showing FThe filter has reached the end of its service life and the activated charcoal filter is saturatedChange the activated charcoal filter (only applies to recirculation systems). Then clean the stainless steel grease filter (applies to recirculation and exhaust air systems). Replace the grease filter if heavily soiled 
A cooking zone or the whole cooktop switches off automatically A cooking zone has been operating for too longSwitch the cooking zone back on again

Overheating protection has been triggered. This occurs in the following cases:
 

  • Cookware has been heated up with nothing inside
  • Oil or fat has been heated up on a high power level
  • A hot cooking zone has been switched back on after a power cut 

Allow the cooktop to cool and then switch it back on again.

Ensure that oil and fat are heated on a low power level and only heat cookware with food inside. 

Power setting is automatically switched off 

Overheating protection has been triggered. This occurs in the following cases:

  • Cookware has been heated up with nothing inside
  • Oil or fat has been heated up on a high power level
  • A hot cooking zone has been switched back on after a power cut 

Allow the cooktop to cool and then switch it back on again.

Ensure that oil and fat are heated on a low power level and only heat cookware with food inside.

The BORA X BO fuse / circuit breaker has tripped multiple timesContact the BORA service team
