BORA is redesigning over 1,000 square metres of space in its Herford building for its Experience Days. Under the motto ‘PURE Original’, the 2026 product innovations will be presented at the annual in-house exhibition. Between 20 and 26 September, the team led by founder and CEO Willi Bruckbauer invites visitors to enjoy informative discussions and lively socialising. The focus is on the newly launched PURE product line. Professional chefs will demonstrate the new products in action during live cooking demonstrations. This allows visitors to experience the brand and the theme of “fresh air” first-hand. Following the presentations of the new products, the manufacturer of built-in kitchen appliances will host the BORA Wiesn on the first five evenings.
Originality means courage: 'PURE Original'
In 2005, Willi Bruckbauer developed the first prototype of a downdraft extractor to eliminate the need for visually and acoustically disruptive extractor hoods. Today, 20 years later, BORA remains a company whose innovative products are characterised by a unique idea and a clear vision – and which have shaped the market. Understanding the kitchen as a living space where function and aesthetics go hand in hand guides all activities at BORA.
Under the motto “PURE Original”, BORA will be presenting exciting new products to its international dealer network at this year's in-house exhibition – with the aim of making cooking easier, more intuitive and more communicative. The product presentation starts with the digital product launch on YouTube on Friday evening, 19 September.
The programme: Breakfast, press aperitif, BORA Wiesn
The BORA Experience Days, from 20 to 26 September, begin each morning with a Bavarian breakfast and offer numerous opportunities for trade partners, trade press and kitchen planners to exchange ideas throughout the day. The new products will be demonstrated directly on site: BORA chefs will cook live and show guests the product features. Fresh air despite live cooking – not only in the open BORA building in Herford, but also in the showrooms of retail partners, experiencing the brand with all the senses is an important part of the BORA brand experience.
Sales professionals are on hand to provide product advice and showroom planning with the BORA shop-in-shop system. In addition to the contacts for German and Dutch guests, direct BORA contacts for international partners and interested parties will also travel to Herford.
Colleagues from product management will be providing insights for journalists at the press aperitif on Monday, 22 September. From 4 to 6 p.m., journalists can ask specific questions and gain exclusive insight into the development of the new products. However, the exchange of background information over cool drinks and culinary delicacies is not limited to this short period of time. For more in-depth discussions, BORA offers individual appointments for journalists and members of the press from Saturday to Thursday via the invitation link.
Everything in-house, no service providers – the BORA team spirit fully comes into this: product presentation, sales and display advice, live cooking show, evening catering and drinks service. For this important product presentation, the sales team and the six-strong BORA Herford team are supported by colleagues from the Raubling and Niederndorf sites – from accounting to customer service and human resources to marketing. A special highlight throughout the week for everyone is the BORA Wiesn, which takes place in a style similar to the Munich Oktoberfest on five evenings from 20 to 24 September from 6 p.m. – it goes without saying that the BORA team will be wearing the traditional outfit. It's all the more wonderful that many retail partners also came dressed accordingly last year.
New exhibitors at BORA Herford
Anders als in den letzten beiden Jahren sind die Experience Days 2025 nicht für Endkunden zugänglich. Um deren Belange kümmert sich lokale BORA Handelspartner und das BORA Herford Team sowie das Restaurant clouds im 2. OG des Gebäudes unterjährig mit publikumsfreundlichen Öffnungszeiten.
The BORA portfolio is complemented by the ranges of other exhibitors, who offer visitors a comprehensive overview of interior design throughout the year. In addition to MCR Stein, the natural stone manufacturer from southern Thuringia, and Poet Audio, the Austrian sound system manufacturer, Candela lighting solutions and Febrü furniture showcase interior design ideas. The traditional Swiss company Suter Inox AG, known for stainless steel products such as sinks, fittings and worktops, completes the exhibition.
Unlike in the last two years, Experience Days 2025 will not be open to end consumers. Their needs will be taken care of throughout the year by local BORA retail partners and the BORA Herford team, as well as the restaurant ‘clouds’ on the 2nd floor of the building.
