Roasted almonds from the oven - sweet and savoury

  • 500 g Almonds (unpeeled)

  • 0.5 tsp Chilli powder

  • 300 ml Water

  • 300 g raw cane sugar

  • 1 tsp salt

Method

  • Prepare caramel

    Place the almonds in a bowl.

    Pour the raw cane sugar and water onto the deep universal tray and spread evenly.

    As soon as the BORA X BO has heated up, place the food in the centre and caramelise for 10 minutes.

  • 300 ml Water, 300 g raw cane sugar

  • Bake almonds

    Remove the universal tray, add the almonds and stir well with a spoon.

    Bake for a further 15 mins.

  • 500 g Almonds (unpeeled)

  • Finishing touches

    Remove the finished almonds.

    Season with salt and chilli powder to taste.

    Mix everything together and enjoy.
